About Long Line of Love Memoirs
Lisa Halverson graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelors degree in International Relations (1996) and a Masters in History (1999). She has taught English for six years; studied on a Fulbright in Jerusalem, Israel; participated in the Indiana University Writers Conference; and enjoys working on her own memoir in her free time. Her writing has been noted for its quality (Firestone Medal from Stanford) and published in Exponent II, a journal for women, and Meridian Magazine, an online publication. Memoir writing combines her great loves – local and personal history, one-on-one conversations, and writing.
The name of the company comes from my own personal and family history. When my mother’s parents (seen in photos to the right) had their 50th anniversary, the grandchildren sang “A Long Line of Love” by Michael Martin Murphey for them. Since then, it has been sung at my grandmother’s funeral, and at all the wedding celebrations for my family members, including my own. |
